Daily Tip IQ publishes the Daily Top 6 Best Bets and full meeting ratings from the MRIS rating system — the Moncrieff Race Intelligence System — for Australian thoroughbred racing.

A system that keeps improving

MRIS has been developed and refined over many months. Every night the ratings are reviewed against the day's results, and any improvements found are built into the system before the next day's ratings are produced.

The $200 plan

From 1 October 2026 we introduced the $200 daily plan: up to six selections staked $50 / $40 / $35 / $30 / $25 / $20 by MRIS ranking. In our testing this was the formula that gave the best and most consistent return, so our published results start from that date. We'll keep updating the results every day.

How the results are worked out

• Results and ROI are based on following the $200 plan exactly, win-only, at official starting prices (SP).
• SP is the official price at the jump. If you shop around and take better prices than SP, your ROI could be higher; take worse prices and it could be lower.
• Scratched runners and abandoned races are treated as refunds and left out of outlay and returns. Places count towards “Top 3” but return nothing.
• Results are plan results before fees; they aren't a record of anyone's actual bets.
